There will be NOT be a designated lunch period. Each participant will have to select their own time for lunch. You can take advantage of the cafeteria at BMCC (open until 1:30pm), buy outside or bring your own.
Course Highlights Include:
BSA Family Scouting:
Family Scouting will launch on Jan 1, 2018. Starting the new year, girls 4th grade and under will be invited to join our packs. If your pack is interested in offering the cub scout program to girls, at least one of your leaders must attend this information session. We will be discussing the logistics of Family Scouting, as well as providing some firsthand experience from co-ed leaders.
Position Required Training Courses:
District Committee Member Training, Merit Badge Counselor Training, STEM Program Training (for Nova Counselors and Supernova Mentors), Outdoor Ethics Orientation, Chartered Organization Representative Training, Unit Committee Member Training, Youth Protection and Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (Boy Scout youth training) will all be offered!
New Courses Include:
Troop STEM Experiments, my.scouting Tools (including online registration), Communication Strategies (using Facebook & local media), Scouting With Different Abilities, Eagle Coach/Mentor Orientation, Planning an Eagle Court of Honor, Bear Claw’n (help with Bear Claw Adventure), Down’n Derbies (including, Pinewood, Space Derbies & Raingutter Regattas).

ILST, Knots, Lashings, Backpacking, Outdoor Ethics, Eagle Process and more!
