What to Take to Camp

The following is a list of clothing and other items that Scouts will need to take to camp. All items (clothing, towels, etc.) should be labeled with the Scout’s name. While in camp, the scouts will be sleeping on cots. It is important that your son brings with him a sleeping bag or 2 warm blankets.  
  • Bug Repellent (recommended)
  • Sun Block (recommended)
  • Flashlight + batteries
  • Rain Poncho
  • Book Bag
  • Sleeping bag or 2-3 Blankets
  • Laundry bag
  • Baby Wipes
  • Warm weather jacket
  • Jeans or long pants
  • Any Prescribed Medicine
  • 2 Towels (1 Pool/Lake, 1 Bath per week)
  • Sneakers
  • Boots (Highly recommended)
  • Socks: 1 Pair per day +2
  • Underwear: 1 per day +1
  • Lotion
  • Swimming Trunks
  • Soap in a plastic container
  • Shampoo
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Comb and brush
  • T-shirts 1 per day
  • Class A Uniform (Required for dinner)
  • Cub or Boy Scout Handbook
  • Sleeping mat/cushion (optional)

ALL ELECTRONICS SUCH AS GAME BOYS, PSP’S, IPODS, CELL PHONES, ETC. ARE NOT RECOMMENDED. THE BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS!!!
